The West Philippine Sea Challenge<\/strong> is an endurance motorcycle event that takes riders through the breathtaking landscapes of Palawan, following a route that highlights both the island\u2019s natural beauty and its coastal heritage. The challenge begins and ends at Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm<\/strong> (Checkpoint A), with strict registration times ensuring participants pace themselves appropriately throughout the journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From Iwahig, riders travel south to Bataraza<\/strong> (Checkpoint B), where they must register no earlier than 1:00 PM on August 25, 2019<\/strong>. This leg covers approximately 236 km<\/strong>, guiding riders along the island\u2019s coastal roads and rural villages. The journey continues northward to Puerto Princesa<\/strong> (Checkpoint C), a key urban hub in Palawan. Registration opens at 5:00 PM on the same day<\/strong>, after another 272 km<\/strong> of varied terrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The final leg takes riders further north to El Nido<\/strong> (Checkpoint D), famed for its dramatic limestone cliffs and island vistas.
